London: Monthly Review, 1810. Softcover (Booklet - Unbound Pages). Very Good Condition. Item #362790

14 pages. This romanticised retelling of Wallace’s struggle against Edward I is noted for its patriotic tone, energetic narrative and occasional lapses into extravagance. The commentary weighs its poetic ambition against its uneven execution. An authentic standalone article, extracted from a larger volume. Not a reprint or reproduction, but an original work in its own right. Preserved in a modern card cover, prepared for practicality - an unassuming but serviceable presentation that favours function over finery. Size: 12 x 21 cms. Category: Monthly Review; Special Interest.
