The seventh Earl of Bridgwater, by his will, made provision for Lord Alford and his heirs. A bill filed by the airmail of Lord Alford's body claiming under the will was dismissed by a decree of the Court of Chancery the House of Lords reversed a decree on appeal. 46 pages, printed in double columns. An original article from the Reports of State Trials, New Series, 1894, published in facsimile, 1982. This particular trial report has been removed from a volume of Macdonell & Wallis's State Trials and is now preserved in a modern card cover for practicality - an unassuming but serviceable rebinding that favours function over finery.
