Contains details of punishments in the treatment of prisoners and an allegation prisoners have been flogged illegally, and "cats" used not sanctioned by law, with large overhand knot, and the end tipped with waxed cord. In addition it details that the poor treatment of prisoners has led to a significant increase in men sent to the Invalid Hulk at Woolwich, where every 7th man has since died. Also allegations of financial irregularities in pay to the prison officers and irregular hours conduct of the Gov, and other grievances. A particularly detailed account albeit in one single page of the maltreatment of prisoners at Millbank. A single printed page, 21 x 32 cms. In good condition, with original stitching marks to left-hand margin, and some marginal chipping to both edges, with slight tears. Clean and crisply printed.
