Morris worked for the publishers Blackie in Glasgow from 1893 as Art Director, and later produced a series of outstanding geometrical influenced bindings for Greshams (a Blackie subsidiary), of which this is a striking example. Morris' distinctive 'signature' is shown on the front board of each volume. The set offered here are as bright as the day they were published in 1909.
