Excavations carried out by the author at Mycenae between 1920-23. Parts 1 and 2 give full descriptions of the tombs as excavated and catalogues of the pottery and of the miscellaneous objects found in them. The notes on various topics and objects given in these two parts are supplemented by fuller discussions in part 3. The commentary in this third part deals successively with the types of the tombs and with the methods of burial, and then with each class or group of objects in turn.
