Volume 2 starts at Issue 27, January 2nd, 1836 and concludes with Issue 52, June 25th, 1836, and Volume 3 commences at Issue 53, July 2nd, 1836 and finishes with Issue 79, December 31, 1836. In total there are 53 issues in these volumes, each containing a great deal of interest in this early Victorian period about the growth of Catholicism, and reflecting the challenges it faced at this time. Many issues have a woodcut vignette view or embellishment of a church or a relic. In an early 20th century binding of leather spine, with plain boards.
